Pandawa, Badung - Bali
2024
Typology:
Commercial Villa
Size (Building/Land):
316/365 sqm
Status:
In Tender

Situated on a gently sloping site just five minutes from the beach, this three-bedroom villa offers elevated ocean views and a lush, private atmosphere. The design embraces the natural topography by placing the main living areas at the highest point, maximizing views while minimizing land alteration.
To preserve the terrain and respond to the slope, a semi-basement level houses the carport and service areas beneath the main floor. This approach allows the architecture to sit lightly on the land while clearly separating service and living zones. A sculpted entry ramp addresses a blind-spot issue caused by the curved roadside, guiding visitors safely and gradually up to the main level in a slow, cinematic ascent.

The social core, an open-plan dining and living space extends to a terrace with long sea views and a compact, infinity-edge-style pool. The three-bedroom layout includes one room on the ground floor and two upstairs. The ground-floor bedroom, located near the stair circulation, is discreetly screened with greenery, an architectural solution that ensures privacy without disconnecting the space.
Upstairs, the two ocean-facing bedrooms enjoy sweeping views. One of them features direct access to a standout element: an outdoor bathtub on the balcony. Framed by sky and sea, this Instagrammable feature offers a unique blend of luxury and intimacy, transforming a daily ritual into a memorable moment of relaxation.

Rooted in its landscape, this villa in Pandawa, Bali presents a quiet harmony of form, function, and atmosphere. Perched on a slope that evokes the look and feel of the Hollywood Hills, it captures the drama of elevation with the ease of tropical living.
The overall design responds intuitively to the terrain, climate, and lifestyle. Every element is shaped by context and crafted for comfort, resulting in a subtle yet distinctive retreat that redefines coastal luxury through architectural clarity and immersive, nature-driven experience.
